Message	You're right, the oils are better now than 11 years ago, certainly. I'm not saying they can't run 5W30, but in the summer, why? I put 5W30 in my Maxima once and the engine just sounded 'loose' and excessively loud. Put 10W30 back in and immediately smoothed and quited back out...same brand of oil, Mobil 1.
